Seth Nuytlen, Senior Swimmer is the only Academic All-State team member from last year.  Coach Partenheimer adds, “Seth does great work in the water and the classroom, and a great kid that has all of his priorities straightened out.  Academics and Athletics are at the top of that list.”

Aaron Cory- Aaron with Men’s Gymnastics scored a perfect 10.0 on High Bar and a 9.8 on Vault.  These two scores counted towards the team score to make a team score of 174.6 which ranks 1st place in the state.             Aaron is also one of two team captains as voted on by his peers.  His daily efforts and drive have helped prepare one of the best gymnastics teams we have ever had here at Rockwall High School. “Congratulations to Aaron on his 10.0 high bar routine.  I’m always happy to see hard work and dedication get rewarded in a big way” shares Coach Cameron Sweny.

Reece McIlroy- a Senior Male Swimmer, had the best times at Lone Star TISCA Meet.  “He’s our team captain.  He leads best by example.  Younger swimmers look up to him and see that it takes a lot of work to accomplish you goals.  When I first arrived in Rockwall, he was my only RHS swim team male captain.  That alone says a lot about him” states Partenheimer.

Sean DelMonte- a Senior Wrestler for Men’s wrestling. Sean went 3-0 in capturing the Hawk Invitational title and then followed up going 3-0 in duals against Lake Highlands, Dallas skyline, and Dallas Jesuit. “Sean had a good first week of the season going 6-0.
